Year 12 Graduation Mass

FR Peter Dillon PP concelebrated this most auspicious occasion with Campus Minister, Fr Pat MacAnally last Friday. Over 800 students, staff and family members of the 2009 graduating seniors celebrated together in Mary Immaculate Church.

Mrs Maryanne Finder farewelled our students on their last day of school. Speeches by Ms Jo Carroll, Head of Senior School and Captains Sean Tobin and Megan Ryan brought tears to everyone's eyes.

The release of 100+ balloons was both a sign of celebration and completion of 12 years of schooling plus a sign of awareness that life holds unlimited challenges and opportunities - Sieze the Day.

Senior Formal

Last Friday over 300 Year 12 students and their parents attended the Graduation Formal at the Gold Coast Arts Centre.

A highlight of the evening was the arrival of the students in all sorts of auto mobiles, with one being rather aquatic.

Mrs Maryanne Finder farewelled the graduating class and presented each student with thier Graduation Certificate and gift from the College. Ms Jo Carroll, organiser and Head of Senior School was very impressed with the whole evening.

Aquinas College Night of Excellence

Gold Coast Arts Centre

Over 700 people attended this prestigious Aquinas College annual event at the Gold Coast Arts Centre last Friday evening.

The Night of Excellence showcased the outstanding academic, cultural, civic and sporting achievements of the year. The night comprised both significant award presentations and the performing arts. There were also visual arts displays in the foyer.

Mrs Maryanne Finder, Principal, along with a number of invited guests, presented awards for Academic Excellence, Outstanding Academic Diligence, Citizenship, Leadership, Culture and Sport.
