The Billinghams Racing News...

It's been very exciting emotional and extremely proud time for Sarah and Leon Billingham as their twin boys, Riley & Ryan Billingham have been training and competing in their chosen sport of triathlon – chasing their dream of competing at the World Champs.
During their final year at AQ in 12yr, 2023 the boys successfully travelled & raced at Canberra on two occasions, Moreton Bay & Toowoomba for World Championships qualification.

This year, Riley and Ryan have just competed in the;

2024 World Triathlon - World Multisport Championships held in Townsville Australia at just 18yrs of age.

 Both Riley and Ryan qualified to compete in;

 Distance Duathlon 18-19yrs age group (10k Run, 40k Ride, 5k Run.).and Long Distance Triathlon 18-18yrs age group (3k Ocean Swim, 114k Ride, 30k Run)

Their results were outstanding;

Standard Duathlon

Ryan 1st place in a time of 02:04:00 (world champion by 36sec over Riley)

Riley 2nd place in a time of 02:04:36

 Long Distance Triathlon

Riley 2nd place in a time of 06:44:40

Ryan 3rd place in a time of 06:46:22
